Did We Mention It Won An Emmy?

On September 8th, 2007, the now legendary SNL Digital Short and viral web video “Dick In A Box,” won an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. The video short, shot by John Rosenblatt, principal, and Director of Photography at Rosey Media, became a YouTube sensation after airing on NBC last December. The Emmy was presented to actor Andy Samberg, composer Jorma Taccone, director Akiva Schaefer, and composers Katreese Barnes and Asa Taccone.

Also honored was composer and lyricist Justin Timberlake, who co-starred in the video.

This is only the latest honor for the video, which is currently listed on YouTube.com as both the #1 most viewed entertainment clip, and the #1 top favorite entertainment download of all time, with over 27 million views to date.
